'Guardian' - Mural by UNFURL at the Don River

At the heart of UNFURL is a simple but radical idea:

That art has the power to transform everyday places into something extraordinary.

UNFURL - Northern English Mural Duo

UNFURL is a northern based mural duo founded by artist and muralists Rebecca Feneley and Natasha Clarke.

Our work is grounded in the belief that art should be accessible, powerful, and present in the everyday - unfurled across walls, streets, and shared public spaces.

Through vibrant and immersive public artworks we aim to inspire local pride, spark connection and champion female representation in street art.

Our designs celebrate nature, colour and unapologetic femininity - transforming public spaces into unexpected sanctuaries of joy and reflection by inviting moments of pause in everyday life.

With an integral mentoring model in every project, UNFURL also supports, encourages and educates emerging creatives with a focus on northern artists, women and those from underrepresented communities.

Creative Services

Murals

We deliver high-quality, large-scale murals for public, commercial, and community spaces. Our process begins with engagement, involving local communities, stakeholders and partners to inspire and co-design ideas and concepts.

Mentoring

Our mentoring programme supports emerging artists and young creatives to develop their practice, gain hands-on experience, and build confidence in community and public art settings through every single project we do.

Workshops & Collaborative Murals

Collaborative Interactive Community Mural at Wentworth Woodhouse by UNFURL

We design and deliver creative workshops tailored to a wide range of groups including schools, community organisations, and festivals.

We also design and facilitate collaborative murals that invite public participation, perfect for arts festivals, local celebrations, or community events.

We've really enjoyed working with UNFURL. Natasha and Rebecca completed a project for our charity creating a beautiful mural on the banks of the river Don.

They were fantastic communicators throughout the project, extremely organised and a delight to collaborate with!

They created a thought-provoking and beautiful design with the local community. We could not recommend them more!
